MediRace is a simple, free to use tool designed to assist paramedics, EMTs, and other emergency responders in estimating travel duration for a patient either by driving or by helicopter.
Just enter the desired hospital and your local air ambulance base and MediRace will automatically:
•Obtain the Google Maps estimated driving duration from your device's GPS location to the hospital.
•Estimate take-off, patient loading, and flight durations of the air ambulance to the patient and then to the hospital.
•Compare the estimations and clearly display the results.

If you are still en-route to the patient, you have the option to enter the patient's location and MediRace will account for the additional driving and on-scene duration.

MediRace is only one additional step before you get your driving route from Google Maps.
After racing, click the marker on the map that you wish to drive to and then click the Google Maps directions arrow to automatically open Google Maps.

Patients that didn't need a helicopter can lose tens of thousands of dollars.
